We Real Cool

Although it did not correlate to the lesson today we were given an interesting bell ringer that made me think a bit. We then listened to a poem that was only a few lines and had complex format/structure. Even the title "We Real Cool" is identifiable by a specific word. The word I'm referring to is colloquialism. This word refers to a dialect belonging to a specific demographic. After we analyzed the poem as a class the amount of things alluded to was surprising.
